Google is supposedly releasing HUD Glasses this year
According to Bits blogger Nick Bilton Google is working on some high tech glasses with built in Heads Up Display or HUD for short. This will allow wearers to access all sorts of information literally right in front of they’re eyes!
According to unnamed sources the users navigate or flip through the info using head movements, these movements are according to Nick’s sources easy to learn. The glasses are supposed to be Android based which might mean they can connect to your Android phone and allow video calls of some sort. The same unnamed sources say the glasses will cost about the same as regular smart phones which translates to about $250-$600 US Dollars and the glasses are said to look somewhat like Oakley’s Thump 2.
The glasses support both 3G and 4G and use a vast variety of sensors like motion and GPS, and will be tapping into allot of Google’s existing products like Latitude for Check-in’s and Google Goggles to search for information. The glasses will have a low resolution camera built-in that will help monitor the world around you and let the Glasses overlay information relative to your location.
We hope we can get our hands on a pair of these when they hit the open market because this sounds to sweet to miss and if they work like we hope they will be a nerd’s “must have”

Sega makes sure you’ll never be bored again while urinating
We love technology that they develop in Japan. Many countries seems to be afraid of change and to try something new but NOT Japan. The entertainment company Sega was in 2011 launching a “Kill-Boredom” solution while urinating. This is mainly only available for men at the moment, but as an innovating country they are, we assume the female version ain’t that far behind.
This doesn’t come as a shock to us as Japan already already has technology built into their toilets, They are most commonly known for functions like; posterior shower jets and perfume bursts to make you smell nice. A great thing about having Sega install these short games into urinals is to trigger the competitive instinct in humans to actually try to hit that target in the porcelain bowl. This will make sure that the urine ends up in the toilet and not on the floor.
Before you start you will have the option to choose from four different games which Sega has chosen to call “The Toy-Let Games”. Each urinal is constructed with a pressure sensor, and a small screen placed at eye level that will display the game itself while you pee, and show you the results. As a bonus, it will also show you the amount of liquid you managed to squeeze out, combined with a tiny static commercial.
Have a look at the video below to see it in action..

Future aircrafts uses human energy to operate
Airbus has started to think about the future. From now on, energy from humans will be harvested from us like batteries and used to power up the aircraft!
Few details revealed
Many might think of the matrix when they read that energy is getting harvested from our bodies to empower the plane. Luckily it’s not as bad as it sounds. Airbus has not revealed many details about how this technology is working, but it sure sounds interesting. Details that has been revealed is that this aircraft will be built with a new type of biomaterial that make use of the excessive heat that we produce. This heat is then collected by the bio material and converted into energy which is stored.
To get maximum absorption of excessive heat, the seats are built with auto-morphing technology to adjust to the human no matter which size he or she might be. What kind of material this is remains a secret for now, but what we do know for sure is that this is some sort of smart biomaterial. We pick a wild guess that it’s made with good help from nano technology.
The Aircraft
The aircraft is divided into three zones.
Smart Tech Zone is the zone at the back of the plane. This one almost looks like the one we have today but only with modern technology like auto-morphing bio material seats.
Zone two is the Interaction Zone, and is found in the middle section of the plane. This zone is buildt in with hologram technology and will help the passengers to relax and kill flight time.
The last zone is the Vitalizing Zone, and is located in the front of the aircraft. This zone has smart seat technology and might give the passenger body treatments like massage and other simple spa treatments. It is also built with surface morphing technology that we also guess is nano technology based. This surface morphing technology will be able to turn the roof and walls transparent to give the passenger a feeling of freedom and a nice panorama view. Looks like this zone might end up to be the new “First class”.
As off today any ticket price is yet to be revealed..
Since Airbus keeps on holding back information on this, Nordic Vikings will keep tracking this story and bring you any updates as they get announced by Airbus. In the mean time, have a look at the promotion video that has been released from Airbus.
Enjoy..!
